When you send feedback we store your message, your email (only if you add it), the page on this site you came from, your language and your browser type (user agent), so we can follow up and fix problems. We delete feedback after one year. Cloudflare may run a privacy-friendly spam check (Turnstile) on that form.

The site sets a few small cookies to remember your choices: language (NEXT_LOCALE), units (units), alcohol-free mode (na), age confirmation (age_ok) and your country from our CDN (country) for sensible defaults.

My Bar, favourites, your best quiz score, today's quiz result and the quiz round you are playing are stored only in your browser.

We use Google Analytics to count visits. In the EU, UK and Switzerland it runs without cookies and without identifying you; elsewhere it sets cookies (_ga). Advertising features are switched off.

If something breaks, a technical error report (no cookies, no profile) may go to our error-tracking service.

Some links to Amazon are affiliate links: if you buy through them we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you, and Amazon may set its own cookies once you follow a link.

If you use photo recognition, your photo is sent to our AI provider (Anthropic) for that one request to suggest a matching cocktail; we don't keep it.

If you share a testimonial, we store the first name you choose, your words and, if available, your country (from our CDN). Nothing is shown until we approve it, and you can ask for yours to be removed through the feedback page.
