The Boulevardier is a sophisticated cocktail that merges the bittersweet flavors of Campari and sweet vermouth with the robustness of bourbon or rye. Its deep ruby color and complex flavor make it a perfect aperitif or after-dinner drink. Served straight up or on the rocks, it’s an elegant choice for cocktail enthusiasts.

Historien

The Boulevardier cocktail is thought to have been created in the 1920s by Erskine Gwynne, an American writer and socialite living in Paris. It is essentially a whiskey-based version of the Negroni, substituting gin with bourbon or rye, and has gained popularity as a classic aperitif. Though not as well-known as the Negroni, it has a devoted following among whiskey lovers.
