The story
The Bee's Knees cocktail dates back to the Prohibition era of the 1920s, when bartenders created drinks to mask the taste of poorly made spirits. The name 'Bee's Knees' was slang for something that was excellent or the best, reflecting the cocktail's delightful flavor profile. Its use of honey served as a natural sweetener to enhance the drink.
