The Canchanchara is a spirited Cuban drink that balances the sharp bite of aguardiente with the smooth sweetness of honey. It is built in the glass, allowing the honey and lime to coat the sides before the spirit is added. The result is a refreshing, slightly effervescent cocktail that is both simple to make and deeply satisfying. It is a great choice for those who enjoy raw, unaged spirits and want a drink that feels authentic and unpretentious.
