This elegant lowball combines the crisp bubbles of Champagne with the warmth of Cognac. The sugar cube, soaked in Angostura bitters, provides a subtle aromatic base that balances the dryness of the wine. A few drops of orange liqueur can be added for a hint of citrus, though it is entirely optional. Served in a rocks glass, it is a sophisticated choice for those who prefer a shorter, more intense experience than a traditional flute. The orange zest and maraschino cherry garnish add a final touch of visual appeal and aroma.
