The story
The Corpse Reviver #2 is part of a family of cocktails designed as hangover cures. It was popularized in the early 20th century and included in the 1930 book 'The Savoy Cocktail Book' by Harry Craddock. The combination of ingredients was believed to 'revive' one’s spirits after a night of indulgence, making it a favored drink in speakeasies during Prohibition.
