The Kir is a timeless French classic that pairs the crisp acidity of dry white wine with the rich, fruity depth of crème de cassis. This simple two-ingredient drink is best served chilled in a rocks glass. The blackcurrant liqueur adds a distinct berry note that complements the wine without overpowering it. It is a refreshing choice for warm evenings or as a pre-dinner sipper. Keep the ratio precise to ensure the wine remains the dominant character, creating a balanced and elegant tasting experience for any occasion.
